Blogger has been used throughout the entire project, it has been used to update our progress. It is very easy to used and allows you to upload images, slideshows and video's.
We used a number of technogies when it come to the research, the contruction, the planning and the evaluation of our project. When we first started our research we used google to find bands similar to ours, we also used google to gain inspiration for our ancillary tasks by searching for other similar artists album covers. 
When searching for other artists videos we used youtube to view them. Youtube was very helpful because we came across music videos we have never seen/heard before that we found very inpiring. We used youtube for the embedded codes to put music videos that really inspired us on our blog. Finally youtube was used to upload our music video and evaluation, once they was uploaded to youtube, they had an embedded code so we could upload them to our blog.
To create our music video we had to use final cut, this is where to entire editing was done. This software was very useful as it allowed us to so more advanced stuff such as green screening.
Indesign was used to create all the ancillary tasks, the software was easy to use as it allowed you to do almost anything you wanted. I used Indesign to add text on the the ancillary tasks, I thought there wouldnt be much choice when it came to picking a font for the album cover, however there was plently to pick from and esspecially one that was exactly the type of text we was looking for. I also used in design to make our front cover darker. This was very easy to do!

Powerpoint was used to create the evaluation based on brand image and the combinations between the main product and our ancillary task. I used this software as i felt it would be nice and easy for the reader to read and also allows you to put titles and pictures where you want them. As you can change the colour of the background and text i feel it is easier to read a document in this way rather than a typical word document. You cant upload a powerpoint without using a online converter so it can go on the blog, to do this i used slideshare, it is really simple and easy to use. 
Photoshop was a big help when it came to editing our photos, i used this the colourgrate the photos for the ancillary tasks. As i was'nt used to editing photos i thought it would be really hard, however photoshop was suprisingly simple to use and allowed you to do almost anything you want.
To the right of this text is an example of the toolbar that was used in the editing of our photos.
